If you have not already done so, go to graphingstories.com on your device. Each of you should have received a copy of the handout that you will use to graph your stories. Quickly choose a partner (someone sitting next to you) that you will discuss your work with.
(A). Select the video "distance from camera". Watch that video and draw what you believe to be the most appropriate graph describing the situation. At the end of the video they will show you the correct graph, so make sure that you have your answer before then. Compare your graph with your partners.
(B). Choose the video "distance from the center of the carousel". Follow the same directions as were stated in part (A).
(C). With the people at your table discuss the differences between the first video we watched and the second video.
(D). Once you have discussed that with your groups, feel free to explore other videos. Try to see how well you can do with some of the more difficult ones.
Note: The teacher can determine which videos they would prefer the students to watch based on previous/future lessons. If preferred, the students can explore the website on their own and choose the videos that interest them most.
